Therapy Fees

Updated Jan 2023:

Initial evaluation/goal setting sessions are $175/hr

Each concurrent individual session is $150/hr

Family or couples sessions are $175/hr

Cancellations, late or missed sessions

If you are unable to come to your session on time or need to reschedule, it is required that you let your therapist know at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions will not start more than 20 minutes late, so if you are running over 20 minutes late, you will need to call your therapist and reschedule. If there is a no show or late cancellation, it is a $100 fee for that missed session.

what ages do you see?

I work with individuals between the ages of 16-65.

what if I am not an athlete? Can I still get therapy?

You do not need to be an athlete at all! I work with both athletes and non-athletes. There are commonalities to our personal struggles, even if you do not participate in sports

what if I do not compete at an elite level?

All levels of sports and work matter! Whether your sport is a hobby, semi-professional, professional, or even at the olympic/national level, we can all find commonalities behind our drive, joy, and passion. I work with all levels of athletes.

What If I Don’t Have The Insurance You Accept?

Can I Still Work With My Insurance?

If you do not have an insurance plan listed above or I am an out-of-network provider for your plan, we can still try to bill your insurance, however depending on your deductible or insurance plan, you may need to pay for the full session fee at the time of service and then wait for reimbursements from your insurance company. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance and verify out of network benefits and reimbursement rates.

What does it mean to pay out of pocket?

Paying out of pocket is essentially paying cash when your insurance company will not reimburse for appointments.  There are times when you may pay up front and your insurance company will re-pay later on.  In these cases, you will be reimbursed for your payments or receive a credit for future appointments.

How Do I Discover What My Insurance Will Cover?

To find out what your insurance may cover, contact your insurance and ask if you have out-of-network mental health coverage.

Other things you may want to ask about are:

  • What your deductible is

  • What your copayment will be

  • How many visits you get per year

  • If you need authorization for your visits

Contact me if you would like more guidance on how to figure out what your insurance will cover.
